My love lies dormant
my love lies
I walk familiar streets with blindfold eyes
Many will be the overlapping, like waves
then fade and become another face.
Days drift, clouds
of yesterdays where dreams
are crowds of people
I once knew, or perhaps didn't.
My love lies dormant
my love lies,
Deceiving strangers, recreation dangers.
embracing heartbeat streets, that stretch
like veins and arteries
I attempt articulation where language fails
and remember the fall, rose like a rain of memory
of music since fled
My love lies dormant,
awakens momentarily
and dies.
