Ben Nevis

On white clean sheets
wrapped on your mountains of mist
you sit contemplating in an
unforeseen land.

Drifting into a dream of daybreak
you sleep and wake into a brighter
realm of rainbow
shining as light glitters
on naked skin.

I'm smooth, like the pebble in your hand
and the whisperings of the high winds
my sussurations.

I lay, my limbs curving round you
as your fingers linger on my lips.

A kiss - and the pattering of wings
